Who we are
Walden Ltd is based in West Hartford, Connecticut. In this policy, "Walden," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Walden Ltd. "Application" refers to ClearOps, Clear Pilot Business, and related software, websites, APIs, automation services, and support services that link to this policy.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as name, email address, company name, role, and contact details.
- Authentication and authorization data, such as login events, session identifiers, role assignments, and security settings.
- Operational data provided through the Application, such as tenant names, system names, workflow configuration, runbooks, notes, audit events, and support context.
- Credential metadata, such as credential names, target systems, tenant associations, access policies, and audit records. Credential secret values are handled through protected vault systems.
- Usage, device, and log data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, timestamps, feature usage, error logs, and diagnostic data.
- Communications, such as support requests, email messages, meeting notes, and feedback.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Application.
- Authenticate users, enforce access policies, and prevent unauthorized access.
- Execute authorized workflows and create audit records of Application activity.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, onboarding, and customer communication.
- Develop new features, improve reliability, and measure performance.
- Comply with legal, contractual, security, and compliance obligations.
Credentials and sensitive operational data
The Application is designed around brokered access and auditability. Where credentials are used, we use protected vault and access-control systems to limit exposure of secret values. Authorized workflows may use credentials to complete requested actions, but credential access is logged and governed by policy.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, secure, monitor, support, or operate the Application.
- Customer-authorized users and administrators within the relevant tenant or organization.
- Third-party systems that a customer directs the Application to access or integrate with.
- Legal, regulatory, or security authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, audit logging, least-privilege practices, encrypted transport where appropriate, and separation of identity, credential, and workflow systems. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Application, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and preserve audit records. Retention periods may vary by customer agreement, data type, and operational need.
Your choices
Depending on your relationship with Walden and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of certain personal information. Some information, including security logs and audit records, may need to be retained for legitimate business, legal, security, or compliance reasons.
Children's privacy
The Application is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice when required by law or contract.
